1. FY2011 H-1B Cap Count as of May 25, 2010 USCIS has announced that, as of May 25, 2010, it had received approximately 19,600 cap-subject H-1B petitions for Fiscal Year 2011. Further, it had only received approximately 8,200 H-1B petitions that count against the H-1B Advanced Degree cap. At this rate, it will be a matter of months before filings come close to the annual cap of 65,000 for regular H-1Bs and 20,000 for advanced degree cases. Read more »

1. FY2011 H-1B Cap Update - H-1B Filings Off to Slow Start On April 1, 2010, USCIS began accepting new H-1B petitions for Fiscal Year 2011 (with a start date of October 1, 2010). The statutory cap on new H-1Bs is 65,000 per year. Read more »
